Ľubomír Gašpar grew up on folklore, studied classical music and jazz. He is the winner of the best worldmusic album of the year "The Point of view.

The title of the album has already indicated Gaspar’s different view on a cimbalom as a musical instrument.

He likes to draw from the folklore of different nations and combines it with  classical music, jazz and other genres. Ľubomír Gašpar collaborates with internationally renowned artists and ensembles such as the Roby Lakatos Ensemble, Adam Ben Ezra, the Barcelona Gypsy Balkan Orchestra, the Jan Talich Quartet, the Wellcaru Trio, and others.
